An earthquake has been recorded in Georgia, according to the Institute of Earth Sciences and National Seismic Monitoring Center.

The agency reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was located near the village of Alismereti, approximately eight kilometers from the town of Baghdati.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.1.
