“When I was appointed Prime Minister, one of the main challenges was the enforcement of the laws. People were arguing whether to implement the law or not,” Irakli Garibashvili said at the presentation of Tetritskaro mayoral candidate Giorgi Tsiklauri.

Prime Minister also explained the government’s decision to cancel penalties imposed for the facemask wearing rule violation in 2020. Garibashvili clarified that many people violated the regulation unintentionally. “This was an impulse to help poor people. The move was natural and rational at that time,” Garibashvili said.

He added that all individuals were equal before the law. “Everybody should obey the law. Stability is a significant factor,” PM said.

Prime Minister noted that the propagation of chaos, aggression and hopelessness damage the country. The epoch of wars and revolutions is over in Georgia. “We need long-term peace, stability and development. Georgian Dream is the guarantee for that,” Garibashvili stated.
