The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, paid a visit to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he reviewed the university’s educational facilities and held discussions with the administration and academic staff.
During the meeting, the parties explored future plans for establishing the Centre for Kartvelology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

In the coming months, we will complete all necessary procedures, which will enable us to open the Shota Rustaveli Centre for Kartvelology at the University of Jerusalem later this year. This initiative will promote the Georgian language and our country’s culture. Most importantly, it aligns with the government’s policy of strengthening Georgia’s international presence and raising awareness of the Georgian language worldwide,” said Givi Mikanadze.
