Deputy Health Minister: Any social activity to boost infection spread

Any social activity may boost coronavirus infection spread, said Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia.

According to Gabunia, wearing facemasks, observing social distancing and other protective measures are significant amidst the current epidemiological situation in the country

Ganubia reported about the alarming situation across Georgia, and the red zone in the Adjara region.

Deputy Health Minister urged for intensification of immunization program. She accentuated improvement of access to vaccines for the rural population based on the order of the Georgian government.

“The number of daily vaccinated persons increases. Yesterday, it exceeded 23 thousand. However, the pace is not yet enough. We should reach 30 thousand per day,” Gabunia claimed.
