Dalia Grybauskaite offered condolences to Salome Zurabishvili over tragic accident in Tbilisi

Dalia Grybauskaite, President of Lithuania offered condolences on behalf of Lithuanian people to President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili over tragic accident in Tbilisi. The statement was published on the official webpage of the President of Lithuania.

“President Dalia Grybauskaitė offered condolences on behalf of Lithuanian people to President Salome Zurabishvili of Georgia over the deaths of people killed in the explosion in a residential building in Tbilisi.

In the face of this tragic accident, the President wished strength and fortitude to the victims’ families and loved ones, as well as speedy recovery for those injured during the explosion”, – the statement reads.

Four people, including one child, were killed and eight others were injured as a result of a powerful explosion in Didi Dighomi district of Tbilisi yesterday. Based on the preliminary information, the blast followed a natural gas leak on the 6th floor of the building.
