Tbilisi City Court is discussing imposition of preventive measures against eight persons detained on charge of drugs dealing.
Prosecutor’s Office demands imprisonment as a preventive measure for the detainees. The lawyers of the detainees request bail for their clients.
Human Rights Defenders have expressed distrust to the investigation and demand conducting examination on operative materials. According to lawyers, none of the detainees had drugs at the moment of detention.
According to MIA, eight drug sellers were arrested in “Basiani” and “Gallery” Night Clubs in Tbilisi on May 12 late night as a result of special operation.
