Prior to the publication of the results, no complaints were registered in the polling stations regarding the counting and summarizing process, except for exceptions – Tamar Zhvania, Chairwoman of Central Election Commission (CEC) said during the meeting with representatives of diplomatic missions and election observer organizations.

According to Zhvania, all summarizing and correction protocols were public and available on CEC web-page and everybody could see them.

Zhvania said that any person, organization or political side could take the protocols and count the results. Also, unfortunately, two political parties, which had members in the district election commissions, did not participate in the lottery procedures.

“The process was very transparent. It was observed by more than 80 thousand representatives of political parties, 4 thousand accredited observers and about 6 thousand representatives of the media,” Zhvania claimed.
