Archaeologists discovered fragments of historical buildings in Telavi

The fragments of the Kvirike Didi Palace presumably dating back to the XI century has been discovered in Telavi, Kakheti region.

The head of the Archaeological expedition Giorgi Laghiashvili explains that the ancient remains, which will be preserved after the completion of archaeological works.

Archaeologists also work at the west part of the city, in order to found the remains of the fifth watchtower dating back to V-VII centuries.
