Among the new coronavirus-infected cases are family members of women transferred from Marneuli

Among the new coronavirus-infected patients, there are four members of a 62-year-old woman family transferred from Marneuli,- Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health said.

In addition, Imnadze explains, patients and staff at Geo Hospital have already been examined in Marneuli, all of them tested negative on a new virus.

“As for the remaining cases, Turkey has been added to the list of countries from where coronavirus infected person arrived in Georgia. Also, the rest new patients are linked with the virus-infected family arriving from the US. Thus, the import cases have expanded quite geographically and so far everything is controlled as much as possible, ” -said Paata Imnadze.
