Amiran Gamkrelidze urges citizens to wear a face mask and observe social distancing
Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), said:” after easing restrictions, citizens do not observe the recommendations of the Health Ministry of Georgia.”
Gamkrelidze noted that “people in the parks do not wear a face mask and do not follow social distancing rules.”
The Head of NCDC stressed that “citizens should understand civic responsibilities as the virus is still in the country and the risk of spread as well.”
