Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze will pay a working visit to Japan on March 13-15.

“We will have high-level meetings with our colleagues and representatives of the private sector. Japan is becoming one of the most promising markets for our wine, so we have been preparing for this for a long time.

We will open an exhibition called “Georgia – Homeland of Wine” in Tokyo. This is a great opportunity to present Georgia not only as a homeland of wine but as a country of ancient culture in Japan.

At the same time, we will demonstrate our business potential. You know that attracting investments is very important for us. I want to especially highlight high-tech direction. Japan is a country cooperation with which is very important,” Bakhtadze said before leaving for Japan.

The Georgian governmental delegation also includes Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia and Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili.
