Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council on COVID-19 has named the locations where 3 958 new coronavirus cases revealed in the past 24 hours.

The locations are as follows:

  • Imereti – 537
  • Adjara – 417
  • Kvemo Kartli – 190
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 159
  • Kakheti – 140
  • Shida Kartli – 137
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 89
  • Guria – 78
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 40
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 14

As of today, Georgia has 18 482 active coronavirus cases. In total, 881 coronavirus patients are in a serious state, of those, 330 have been put on artificial ventilation.

Georgia has reported 3 958 new coronavirus cases, 3 531 recoveries and 36 deaths in the past 24 hours.

In total, Georgia’s coronavirus cases increased to 108 690, of those, 89 170 recovered and 1 012 died.
