Mikhail Janelidze will depart for New York today

Vice-Premier of Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikhail Janelidze will depart for New York on a working visit today.

Mikheil Janelidze will take part in the high level meeting of the UN General Assembly – High level meeting on peacebuilding and sustaining peace.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will address the participants of the high level segment of the UN General Assembly and will focus on occupied territories. He will talk about the Georgia’s peace initiative “A Step for Better Future” aimed at improving the humanitarian and social-economic conditions of the population living in Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali regions as well as at the territories along the occupation lines.
