MEP Viola Cramon to praise former UNM member

Viola von Cramon, a member of the European Parliament, echoed signing the April 19 compromise agreement by the Georgian political parties.

The MEP accentuated inking the document on part of Salome Samadashvili, a former member of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party. She said the move deserved support.

“I want to express my respect towards Salome Samadashvili that she had the courage to sign even without the support of her (ex-) party. She deserves support from anyone who wishes to overcome the political crisis in Georgia and finally brings the country back on a constructive Euro-Atlantic path. A big thank you to those politicians!,” Viola von Cramon tweeted.

The Georgian political parties signed A way ahead for Georgia, a compromise document submitted to the parties by the European Council President Charles Michel, at the Orbeliani Palace on April 19.
