Marina Endeladze says 3 new victims of COVID-19 suffered from underlying diseases

Marina Endeladze, the director of the boxed ward of the Infectious Diseases Hospital said two coronavirus patients have died in Adjara, and one more in Tbilisi. All three suffered from underlying diseases.

“Two men at age 65 and 70, who suffered from diabetes and stroke, died in Adjara. Third patient, a 57-year-old woman, who had acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS,) died in Tbilisi,” noted Endeladze.

298 new cases of coronavirus and 148 recoveries have been reported today. Georgia’s COVID-19 cases reached 5 552. The number of cured patients stands at 2 054.

Three more patients have died of the virus today, increasing the death toll to 31.

Currently, 5637 people are under quarantine and 836 more under medical observation.
