Mariam Kvrivishvili - Tourism revenue increased by 20 %

“This year we have a positive trend in the tourism industry,” said Head of the Georgian Tourism Administration Mariam Kvrivishvili regarding the question on the flows of tourists in Georgia in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.

“Since January 2020, significant growth rates has began in Tourism industry, which equates to 19-20 per cent. Besides, tourism revenue has increased by 20 per cent.

We have nothing alarming in Tourism at this stage, on the contrary, as the numbers say, our country has already started 2020 very successfully,” Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
