Khidiskhuri village of Khashuri Municipality placed under strict quarantine

A special regime and strict quarantine restrictions are being introduced in Khidiskhuri village of Khashuri Municipality, – the decision was taken by the Intergovernmental Coordinating Council, chaired by the Prime Minister, at today’s meeting.

According to the press office of the Prime Minister, in addition to the restrictions imposed under the state of emergency, it is now forbidden to enter or leave this administrative unit. Forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense will ensure the implementation of this regime on the ground. The citizens will only be able to leave their homes in order to purchase food products and medicine, or to receive medical services. Local residents will be able to carry out agricultural work in compliance with the special protocol.

According to Press Office, Georgian Public Broadcaster will operate in the administrative unit.
