Ivane Machavariani – All those who can cover debt, will be able to take credits

All those who can cover the debt will be able to take bank credits – Ivane Machavariani, Finance Minister stated in connection with new bank regulations to be activated starting November 1.

Machavariani responded to the question of journalists about the prognosis of banks and the feasible decrease in economic growth by 3 %.

Finance Minister claimed that the negative influence was prognosticated but only on 0.6 % for the short-term period and expected to be corrected in 1 year.

Machavariani said that one of the main bases for the economic crisis in any country was abundance of debts and there was no threat to the stability of the banking sector.
