Anyone who has the capacity to pay can receive a bank loan, – The Minister of Finance Ivane Machavariani stated about the new bank regulations.

Machavariani was asked about the forecasts, according to which a new rule of issuing loans to individuals, which will be launched starting from November 1, will reduce the economic growth by 3 percent.

According to the Minister of Finance, as it’s predicted the negative impact is only 0.6 percent, and only in a short-term.

“Our expectation is that negative impact on the economy will be 0.6 percent and it would be corrected in a year”, – Machavariani said.

According to Minister, the basis for any economic crisis is over-indebtedness.
