The Georgian government will subsidize transit flights from the Russian Federation with up to 600 thousand Euros.

Based on the decision, subsidizing will refer to the flights from Russia through Yerevan in direction of Tbilisi and Batumi.

The corresponding agreement will be signed by the Airports Union of Georgia. However, the decision does not specify the air company with which the agreement will be concluded.

“Georgian Airways” is carrying out the transit flights from Russia through Yerevan in cooperation with the Armenian air companies at present.
