Georgia starts negotiations with the US on direct flights

Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, has left for the United States along with the delegation members. Within the visit, the Minister will hold talks on the launching direct flights with two leading US airlines.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Natia Turnava will meet representatives of the world’s largest companies – Delta Air Lines and United airlines and will make a detailed presentation on Georgia.

As Minister of Economy points out, launching direct flights with the US, on one hand, will be a very clear, unequivocally positive political step and on other hands, it will be commercially attractive for the companies.
