Georgia reports 946 coronavirus cases, 4,351 recoveries, 48 deaths

Georgia reported 946 coronavirus cases, 4,351 recoveries, and 48 deaths on September 13, the official figures show.

17,192 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 9,442 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,750 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 324 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 133 cases, and the Adjara region with 120 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 581,815, among them, 545,961 people recovered and 8,233 died.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 5,5%, while 7,36% in the past seven days.

There are 85 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6,186 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,611 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 1,419 critical patients, 363 require mechanical ventilation.

As of today, 1,507,986 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 14,703 in a day.
