Georgia reports 294 new coronavirus cases, 87 recoveries

Georgia has reported 294 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 5 254, according to stopcov.ge.

87 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of recoveries to 1 906.

The country’s COVID-19-related death toll stands at 27.

The 41 people are brought from abroad for medical treatment.

Currently, 5 674 people are under quarantine and 800 more under medical observation.
