Georgia reported 2,262 coronavirus cases, 2,795 recoveries, and 54 deaths on September 10, the official figures show.
34,225 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 19,047 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 15,178 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 827 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 335 cases, and the Adjara region with 211 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 575,210, among them, 534,559 people recovered and 8,089 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 6,61%, while 7,42% in the past seven days.
There are 84 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6,327 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,918 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 1,501 critical patients, 365 require mechanical ventilation.
As of today, 1,433,296 people got coronavirus jab with 24,325 in a day.
