Georgia reported 2 345 coronavirus cases, 51 deaths, and 3 560 recoveries on Wednesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 017 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 429 cases, and Shida Kartli region with 192 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 214 871, among them 191 968 people recovered and 2 233 died.
There are 455 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 279 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 600 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
