Ex-president Saakashvili rebuffs election delay idea

“The upcoming referendum should be held sooner rather than delayed,” said former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and Chair of the executive committee of the Ukrainian National Reforms Council on his Facebook page.
“All forces should mobilize to win,” Saakashvili stated. “I am fully involved in this process. I am categorically against any postponement of this referendum,” he stressed.
The local elections are scheduled for October 2.
