Workers on strike in Boriti village

About 400 workers employed on the construction of the highway in Boriti village, Kharagauli, have been on a strike for 5 days. They demand increase of wages and improvement of working conditions.

The striking works claim that they have no interpreter to facilitate communication with the contactor company administration to understand what the employer instructs them to do.
