US Embassy: Georgia hosts Trojan Footprint military exercise for fourth time
Georgia hosts the Trojan Footprint multinational military exercise for the fourth time, the U.S. Embassy stated.
In a statement shared on social media, the Embassy said that the exercise, led by U.S. Special Operations Forces in Europe, is one of the largest ongoing military drills in the region and was launched last week.
The multinational exercise is aimed at strengthening cooperation with partner countries, improving interoperability with NATO, and enhancing joint readiness in support of regional security.
“The 2026 exercise will involve approximately 1,000 U.S. service members and 2,000 service members from NATO allies and partners,” the embassy noted.
