Lado Zimceishvili wins two gold medals and sets European record at U17 Championships

Georgian weightlifter Lado Zimceishvili (85kg) delivered an impressive performance at the ongoing U17 European Weightlifting Championships in Pristina.

Zimceishvili lifted 139kg in the snatch to claim the bronze medal.

He then secured gold in the clean and jerk with a 175kg lift, becoming European champion in the discipline.

Zimceishvili also won a second gold medal in the overall competition with a combined total of 314kg, setting a new European record in the process.
