Uplistsikhe and Vardzia museum-preserves to be opened for visitors from June 20

Uplistsikhe and Vardzia museum-preserves will be opened for visitors from June 20. The National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia is ready to host visitors by taking into consideration the recommendations of healthcare specialists. Also, with purpose of stimulating tourist flows, the entrance fees will be reduced by half during the next 3 months.

The Agency Director, Head of Tourism National Administration and Shida Kartli Regional Governor visited the tourist sites today.

Grakliani Archaeological Museum with modern multimedia exposition will start functioning in the nearest future. Skhvilo Fortress will be also added to tourist routes with original attractions.
