“Giorgi Gakharia is a chronic traitor. He first betrayed Ivanishvili, then protest movement voters and the opposition accord,” said Irakli Pavlenishvili, Deputy General Secretary of the United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Pavlenishvili, the Gakharia for Georgia party can no longer be regarded as the opposition force.

“This man is trying to return to the ‘Georgian Dream nest’ with his team. To what extent he will be able to return is yet a question,” he said.

The Gakharia for Georgia party has decided to enter Parliament. Giorgi Sharashidze, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia political council, announced at a briefing on Monday. According to Sharashidze, failing to use the platform of Parliament and municipal assemblies is not merely a mistake but a crime against the country and its people.
