UNM's Nadiradze: October 4 to end with Georgian people's peaceful flag revolution
“The fact is that the regime is deeply afraid of the upcoming peaceful revolution on October 4. Bidzina Ivanishvili’s letter today is a clear confirmation of this,” said Irakli Nadiradze, one of the leaders of the United National Movement opposition party.
Nadiradze also revealed that the State Security Service has been attempting, and continues to attempt, to obtain the action plan of Paata Burchuladze [Rustaveli Avenue movement leader] and their plans for October 4.
“Instead, we have managed to obtain their actual plan; what they intend to do. This is a clear indication that a flood of information is leaking from the Georgian Dream, including from their law enforcement agencies. The key point is this: no plan or trick of Bidzina Ivanishvili will succeed if hundreds of thousands of patriotic, freedom-loving Georgians take to the streets. They themselves admit that if there are many people, they are finished.
The only thing left for us to do is to come out on October 4 in as great a number as possible. This day will mark the victory of the Georgian people, and no matter how afraid Bidzina Ivanishvili is, it will end with the peaceful, flag revolution of the Georgian people,” Nadiradze emphasised.
