UNM describes SSG investigation as attempt to divert attention

Ana Tsitlidze, a member of the opposition United National Movement, described the State Security Service investigation as an attempt to divert attention from important issues, as she mentioned is Partskhaladze’s issue. According to Tsitlidze, the SSG has a history of initiating investigations that later turn out to be politically motivated or lack substance.

She described the State Security Service as one of the “most infamous organizations.”

“I would like to inquire about the whereabouts and activities of the SSG when the Chief Prosecutor was identified as an agent of Russia. What actions were taken when the Russian agent Partskhaladze coordinated with the law enforcement agencies and interfered in the elections? Furthermore, what measures are being implemented when the US officially declares Partskhaladze as a Russian agent?” Tsitlidze said.
