University secondary clearing deadline closes today

University and vocational applicants have until 6.00 pm today, 9 October, to select programmes with remaining vacant places.

According to the National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC), the secondary university admissions process is open to candidates who cleared the minimum pass mark across every subject in the 2026 Unified National Examinations but failed to secure a place, as well as those who missed the university threshold but met the required score for vocational courses.
