UNICEF says Pfizer vaccine to arrive in Georgia on Wednesday

Georgia will receive 29,250 doses of the Pfizer vaccine on March 24, UNICEF told the Georgian Public Broadcaster.

According to them, the technical details and transportation timing are yet to be confirmed. However, the plane loaded with the Covid-19 vaccines will most likely land at Tbilisi International Airport tomorrow. The country will receive vaccines from the United States.

Georgia received the first batch of the 43,200 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine on March 13. An additional 86,400 shots are expected to arrive in April. UNICEF helps Georgia to supply the drugs.
