MEP Rasa Juknevičienė has responded to the preliminary results of Serbia’s parliamentary elections, in which the Student List party is in the lead.

The MEP said similar changes should also happen in Georgia and Russia.

“I am glad about the changes in Serbia, and I salute its courageous citizens and students! I believe that change will come to Georgia as well, and to Russia too. We just need to help Ukraine win,” Juknevičienė wrote.

According to the latest Ipsos/CeSID data, the Student List won 52.9% of the vote in Serbia’s parliamentary elections, while Aleksandar Vučić’s Serbian Progressive Party took 38.8%. According to these figures, the Student List would win 141 seats and Vučić’s party 103 in Serbia’s 250-seat parliament. The remaining six seats would be shared among four other parties.
