It’s unacceptable for me when my team is cursed and I’m praised. I do not need such praise, Gia Gachechiladze may take his words away, – Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili said in response to singer Gia Gachechiladze’s statement.

According to PM, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Tariel Khechikashvili is a very dignified person and “he has never mixed up state and business affairs”.

“Tariel Khechikashvili made a lot when he was minister, as he finished endless conflicts in the sports federations and started a lot of interesting programs for the youth. It is unacceptable for me when my team members are cursed and I am praised. I do not need such praise and Gia Gachechiladze may take his words away,” Kvirikashvili said.

Gia Gachechiladze spoke about the shortcomings related to the participation of companies in the tenders yesterday and stated that the company Citroen Georgia lost the tender announced by the Ministry of Health for ungrounded reasons. According to him, just few companies participate in tenders in Georgia, which represents a cartel and former Minister of Sports Tariel Khechikashvili is associated with these companies.
