UN Security Council to hold an emergency meeting over Kerch Strait developments

Security Council of United Nations will hold an emergency meeting over Kerch Strait developments. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley announced on Sunday on her twitter page. “An emergency Security Council meeting has been called for tomorrow at 11:00am,” Haley tweeted.

An emergency Security Council meeting will start at 20:00 Tbilisi time.

According to the agency “France Press”, the UN Security Council has been summoned by Ukraine and Russia.

The announcement was made after the Ukrainian government said Russian naval forces had fired upon and seized three of its vessels.
