Ukrainian PM to visit Georgia

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal will pay a visit to Georgia. He announced it during a meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister  David Zalkaliani in Kyiv on Monday.

Prime Minister of Ukraine reaffirmed the Ukraine-Georgia Strategic Partnership, a joint effort of the two countries to achieve common goals, European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

David Zalkaliani reiterated the Georgian side’s concern over the developments on the borders of Ukraine and the temporarily occupied Crimea and reaffirmed Georgia’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The meeting touched upon the Euro-Atlantic integration process of the two countries. Sides welcomed the efforts of Kyiv and Tbilisi to properly reflect the integration goals of both countries at the forthcoming NATO summit.
