GPB hosts Tourism Committee Chair of Uzbekistan

Within the framework of the Georgian visit, the Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Akkulov, visited the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) and met with GPB Director General Tinatin Berdzenishvili and Chair of GPB Board of Trustees Vasil Maghlaperidze.

The meeting focused on prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism. The meeting participants also reviewed future plans regarding the coverage of interesting projects.

According to the GPB Director General, Tinatin Berzenishvili, the meeting was interesting and significant.

“We have already planned what can be done to bring the two countries closer together, historically, culturally, and gastronomically. This is our strong side in the television part, and we know how to implement it. Therefore, we have scheduled projects across several areas that viewers will see shortly,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.

Abdulaziz Akkulov noted that interesting plans are ahead in the field of tourism and air travel and that the idea of ​​covering significant projects was born.

“Within the framework of the visit, we had several interesting meetings with our partners in Georgia. We want to upgrade cooperation between the two countries to an even higher level. There are interesting plans in the direction of tourism, which also concern air travel. We reviewed these issues with the GPB Director General and Chair of the Board of Trustees. The idea to cover significant projects was born, and we hope that the Georgian population will get to know our country and future projects better. This will be interesting for both countries,” said Abdulaziz Akkulov.
