Tsakhkhuroba to be celebrated in Martvili

The public celebration Tsakhkhuroba is underway at Tsakhkhuru Archangel temple in Martvili Diocese in the west Georgia region.
Childless couples from all over Georgia gather at the Tsachkhuru Archangel Cathedral on this day. They bring cradles and dolls and beg the Lord to give them a child.
Tsakhkhuroba temple dates to the 7th century. It was renovated in the 18th century.
