Person detained as result of special operation imposed to pre-trial imprisonment

The person detained during the special operation at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi on November 22, was imposed to pre-trial imprisonment at the trial held at Tbilisi City Court earlier this afternoon. Judge Roman Khorava headed the trial.

The Prosecutor’s Office demands imposition of prison term. According to Lawyer Imeda Karkashadze, his defendant does not plead guilty. The detainee faces from 10 to 17 years in prison.

One person was detained and three members of crime gang were killed during the special operation on November 22.
