Tornike Shengelia named as best player at Spanish basketball championship

Tornike Shengelia, a Georgian professional basketball player who plays for the Spanish Saski Baskonia basketball team, has been named as best basketball player at Spanish basketball championship.

Shengelia was awarded as the ‘giant of the year’ (Premio Gigante del Año) by the liga Endesa, the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system.

Shengelia was given the award at the ceremony of the Premios Gigantes held in Madrid Spain on February 10.
