Three candidates run for the so-called 2020 presidential election in Russian-occupied Abkhazia
Three candidates are running for the so-called 2020 presidential election in Russian-occupied Abkhazia, Abkhazia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) reports.
Documents were submitted to the so-called CEC by the opposition Leader Aslan Bzhania, de facto Minister for Economy of Abkhazia Adgur Ardzinba, and de facto Former Interior Minister Leonid Dzapshba.
The so-called presidential election will be held on March 22, 2020.
On January 10, the court in occupied Abkhazia declared the results of the second round of the presidential election and the decision of the court of the first instance illegal.
