Ten acting and 2 former MPs were penalized in 2017 for violations discovered in property declarations.
According to Public Service Bureau, fines were imposed to majority MPs Archil Talakvadze, Akaki Zoidze, Guguli Maghradze, Mikheil Kavelashvili, Otar Chrdileli, Irakli Abuseridze, Zviad Kvachantiradze, Tamaz Naveriani and Paata Mkheidze.
Independent MP Ramaz Nikolaishvili and former MPs Temur Maisuradze and Vladimer Achba were also penalized. No violations were detected in property declarations of Khatuna Gogorishvili and Davit Bakradze. A total of 287 property declarations were studied last year.
