Tbilisi TV tower lights up in emerald green to mark Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

Tbilisi City Hall said on Thursday that the Tbilisi TV tower was lighted in emerald green to commemorate Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.

The director of the National Screening Centre, Eter Kiguradze, encourages women to get cervical cancer screenings. “We await them with improved services.”

The cervical cancer screening approach has evolved, from PAP testing to HPV testing. Eter Kiguradze stated, “This method will allow us to save the lives of even more women.”

Women aged 25 to 60 are eligible for a free cervical screening supported by the state, according to a statement from Tbilisi City Hall.
