Tbilisi hosts Georgia–Israel Business Forum

The 30th Business Forum, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of relations between Georgia, Israel and World Jewry, will be held today in Tbilisi. The event is organized by the Georgia–Israel Chamber of Commerce and Israel House.

The forum will bring together representatives from Georgia and Israel, city mayors, international organizations, and approximately 100 business leaders from both countries.

During the forum, participants will review the development of economic and business relations between Georgia and Israel, discuss future cooperation in the tourism sector, and present new tourism projects. Special attention will be given to the Biblical Route of Jewish Cultural Heritage, implemented under the auspices of the Council of Europe, which begins in Georgia.

The opening ceremony will feature the lighting of the Hanukkah candle, marking the Jewish holiday.

The business forum will include panel discussions and workshops on a range of topics.

According to Itsik Moshe, Head of the Georgia–Israel Chamber of Commerce and founder of Israel House, the forum summarizes 35 years of cooperation and serves as a foundation for future joint initiatives. Several bilateral agreements and projects are expected to be signed during the forum.

As part of the visit, Israeli guests will also hold a series of meetings and visit tourism facilities established with Israeli investment.

The business forum is being hosted at the Paragraph Hotel in Tbilisi.
