State will provide funding to those students from occupied territories who express a desire to study at Georgian universities

At today’s session of the government, the resolution, which envisages funding of the studies of students living in the occupied territories at Georgian universities, was approved, – Mikheil Batiashvili, the Minister of Education of Georgia told the journalists.

“It is very important to support them in any direction. Accordingly, the state will provide funding to all those students from the occupied territories who express a desire to study at Georgian universities. The list of Universities will be defined for the next stage”, – said Mikhail Batiashvili.
