Ekaterine Tikaradze: Georgian Government, with support of international partners, is ready to assist its citizens in occupied territories
Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia spoke about the current situation in the occupied territories while addressing the Assembly of the World Health Organization.
The Minister noted that the country is mobilized to assist citizens living in the occupied territories.
“20 percent of our country is occupied. Unfortunately, this is why the central government of Georgia does not have full information about the epidemic situation in occupied Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region. The information spread by the occupation regimes does not correspond to reality. The Central Government of Georgia, with the support of UN agencies and other international partners, is ready to assist its citizens living in the occupied territories, “- said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
