Starlink’s high-speed internet is now available in Georgia, Elon Reeve Musk, founder and CEO of SpaceX, tweeted.

“Starlink’s high-speed internet is now available in the country of Georgia,” he said.

Starlink is a satellite internet constellation operated by American aerospace company SpaceX, providing coverage to over 60 countries. It also aims for global mobile phone service after 2023. SpaceX started launching Starlink satellites in 2019.

Georgian National Communications Commission (ComCom) authorized Space X’s Starlink, founded by Elon Musk, to launch a satellite internet service in Georgia in July 2022.

“Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency broadband internet across the globe, including at locations where the internet is unstable or entirely unavailable,” ComCom said.
